Looking Forward

I am looking forward to California next week.  I can hardly wait to see family and friends – to hug necks, talk, laugh, and remember how good it is to be together in Christ.  We may have miles between us but we’re connected.  Seeing each other (and feeling undivided oneness) is proof that state lines will never create gaps between us.  Of course, it doesn’t feel that way when I want to have a quick lunch with one of my daughters!  While we’re out this time Michele and Eric are gonna slip away for a two night get-away, which will give us some quality time with Ethan and Cole.  All together, we’ll be in California about a week.  So we have a lot to put into a little space!  We are ever so grateful that Doreen lets us sleep at her house…and to Claudia (and her nephew) for the use of a mattress!!! It sure beats the floor!
